Overview
- The state cabinet, meeting under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday, cleared four Greenfield expressway projects and approved final RFP/bid documents to start tendering.
- Two link roads will join the Agra‑Lucknow Expressway to the Purvanchal Expressway (50.98 km, ₹4,775.84 crore) and to the Ganga Expressway via Farrukhabad (90.84 km, ₹7,488.74 crore).
- The Vindhya Expressway is cleared as a 333‑km six‑lane corridor from Prayagraj to Sonebhadra at about ₹26,315 crore and the Vindhya‑Purvanchal spur is approved as a 117‑km link at roughly ₹9,039–9,041 crore.
- Tenders will be issued next under an EPC delivery model, with selected developers required to finish construction in roughly 36 months and carry out five years of post‑completion maintenance.
