- For delivery by Dec. 25, USPS recommends mailing by Dec. 17 for Ground Advantage and First-Class, Dec. 18 for Priority Mail, and Dec. 20 for Priority Mail Express.
- USPS lists separate cutoffs for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. territories, including Dec. 16 for Ground Advantage, Dec. 17 for First-Class, Dec. 18 for Priority Mail and Dec. 20 for Priority Mail Express.
- All post offices will be closed with no mail delivery on Dec. 25 and on Jan. 1, with self-service kiosks and smart lockers remaining available.
