Overview
- Madame Tussauds unveiled the wax figure on Sept. 2, 2026, and Usher greeted it by saying, “It looks more like me than me.”
- The statue recreates his My Way residency outfit with a donated Vanson skeleton biker jacket, leather pants, red-sequined roller skates, and a replica of his signature “U” pendant.
- Madame Tussauds said about 20 studio artists spent nine months building the likeness using hundreds of measurements, individual hair insertion, layered painting, and an estimated cost near $300,000.
- The launch doubled as promotion for Usher’s upcoming R&B Tour dates at Allegiant Stadium on Sept. 5, 6 and 18 and was attended by his wife Jennifer Goicoechea, who said, “They got it right.”
- The figure builds on Usher’s long Las Vegas relationship from residencies beginning in 2021 and signals his interest in broader entertainment projects in the city even though no new residency has been announced.
