- Jadis Jones, who announced his pledge Wednesday, committed to USC after two seasons at Lindenwood in the Ohio Valley Conference.
- He averaged 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists last season and made the All-OVC First Team after winning the league’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman.
- The 6-foot-5 guard led the OVC in field-goal percentage at 57.4% and produced uncommon rebounding for his position, setting Lindenwood’s Division I mark for single-season double-doubles.
- He joins a retooled rotation that already added transfers KJ Lewis, Jalen Cox and center Eric Reibe, with starters Rodney Rice, Alijah Arenas and Jacob Cofie back and a touted freshman class arriving.
- Jones has two seasons of eligibility left, giving USC an experienced, physical wing as it moves from OVC-level competition to the Big Ten stage under Musselman.
