Overview
- The ribbon-cutting, held Thursday near Trilith south of Atlanta, launched a 200-acre headquarters and training hub and capped the federation’s move from Chicago.
- Built to house all 27 national teams, the site centralizes player development, coaching education, referee training, and high-performance support under one roof.
- The complex features 17 outdoor fields and two indoor pitches within a 200,000-square-foot indoor facility, plus more than 400,000 square feet overall with a high-performance gym, 20 locker rooms, and 19 meeting rooms.
- Funding included a $50 million lead gift from Arthur M. Blank and land donated by Dan T. Cathy, with support from Michele Kang and founding partners such as AT&T, Bank of America, Chobani, Coca-Cola, Emory Healthcare, Nike, and ŌURA.
- U.S. Soccer said the project was delivered on time and on budget, and events begin later in May with the AdaptandThrive Invitational, with the men’s national team expected to train there before the 2026 World Cup.
