Overview
- Commander, Submarine Forces began the operation on March 7 after establishing the ice-floe camp and bringing in USS Delaware (SSN 791) and USS Santa Fe (SSN 763).
- Ice Camp Boarfish is a temporary base on a drifting Arctic ice floe that functions as a command and research hub with shelters, a command center, and supporting infrastructure.
- U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and Air National Guard personnel are joined by partners from the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Australia, Japan, and Norway’s defence research institute.
