  • South Carolina’s ongoing outbreak, centered in Spartanburg County, accounts for a large share of cases, with 979 linked to the 2025–26 event and 653 recorded in 2026.
  • Massachusetts confirmed two cases: a school‑aged resident diagnosed out of state with no in‑state exposures and a Greater Boston adult who recently traveled internationally and may have exposed others as contact tracing proceeds.
  • Separately in the U.K., a leaked UKHSA report cites about 340 suspected London cases, including 34 confirmed at one Enfield school, against a backdrop of low local MMR uptake.
