UPSC Releases ESE 2026 Prelims Results, Name-Wise List Posted on upsc.gov.in

Qualified candidates advance to the 21 June mains under provisional status, with admit cards expected about a week before the test.

Overview

  • The Commission published the written result on February 27 with a downloadable PDF listing qualified candidates by name and roll number.
  • Those shortlisted will appear for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination on June 21, 2026, with e-admit cards to be issued roughly one week prior.
  • UPSC clarified that candidature at this stage remains provisional and subject to fulfillment of all prescribed eligibility conditions.
  • The Commission will upload prelims marks and cut-off details only after the entire ESE 2026 process concludes with the final result following the Personality Test.
  • No requests to change the main exam centre or discipline will be entertained, and a Facilitation Counter with helplines (011-23388088, 23385271, 23381125, 23098543) is available for queries.
