Overview
- NPCI data show 20.70 billion UPI transactions in October with total value at Rs 27.28 lakh crore, up from 19.63 billion and Rs 24.90 lakh crore in September.
- October 18 set a single-day record with 754.37 million payments worth Rs 1.02 lakh crore, and the Dhanteras–Diwali three-day window averaged 736.9 million transactions.
- On an annual basis, volume rose about 25% and value about 16%, while analysts note the growth rate has eased to a 43-month low.
