Overview

  • The Uttar Pradesh government, which ran an investor roadshow in Bengaluru on Wednesday, said it received proposals and MoUs worth over ₹50,000 crore from more than 15 companies.

  • The state promoted its GCC Policy 2024 and infrastructure pitch—highlighting a 75,000-acre industrial land bank, expressways, multiple airports and land/stamp-duty/interest subsidies—to attract firms and talent.
  • Officials set measurable targets to guide follow-up: 40 million square feet of Grade-A office space and 500 GCC units by 2031, while noting that the government-reported proposals and MoUs now require due diligence and project execution before investments materialise.
