UP Seals ₹19,877-Crore MoUs in Singapore as Yogi Adityanath’s Investment Tour Heads to Japan

The commitments target data centres, green energy, logistics and housing, alongside a skills tie-up, as the state seeks next-stage partnerships in Japanese autos and semiconductors.

Overview

  • Universal Success Group signed three agreements worth ₹6,650 crore for a Jewar-area township, a KanpurLucknow logistics park and a 40 MW data centre in Noida–Greater Noida.
  • Golden State Capital announced ₹8,000 crore for a 100 MW data centre, while PIDG pledged ₹2,500 crore and AVPN ₹2,727 crore for renewable and agri-PV projects, with the package projected to create over 20,000 jobs subject to execution.
  • Uttar Pradesh concluded a cooperation agreement with Singapore’s ITE Education Services to bolster TVET, including training aligned to aviation and data-centre operations.
  • Yogi Adityanath met Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and engaged Temasek, GIC and DBS, with Wong highlighting scope to deepen business links with the fast-growing state economy.
  • The delegation moves to Japan on February 25–26 for meetings with companies including Suzuki, Kubota, Tokyo Electron and Toshiba to explore automobile, semiconductor, electronics and green-hydrogen collaboration.
