Overview
- Between January 6 and March 6, 70,69,810 Form 6 inclusion requests and 2,68,682 Form 7 deletion objections were filed, with women submitting slightly more Form 6 than men.
- Hearings have been completed for about 2.80 crore voters, leaving roughly 14% of cases pending, according to Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa.
- So far, 44,952 names have been removed through the revision, with deletions carried out only after notice and reasoned orders as per rules.
- Notices were generated for 3.26 crore voters flagged for verification, and about 93.8% have been served, with hearings conducted at 5,621 locations across the state.
- Since the exercise began on October 27, authorities have recorded 86.69 lakh Form 6 applications and 3.18 lakh Form 7 submissions, along with 22.55 lakh Form 8 correction requests.
