Overview
- Miguel Poveda reports finding a short Federico García Lorca poem on the back of a manuscript he purchased from a German antiquarian.
- The poem, titled “Canta el reloj…,” will appear in the book “Las cosas del otro lado. Lo inédito en Federico García Lorca” from Elenvés Editoras.
- Pepa Merlo, a Lorca specialist, provisionally dates the draft to 1933 and says the handwriting matches the poet.
- The presentation is planned at the central booth of the Granada Book Fair with Poveda and Merlo attending.
- The project ties into Poveda’s Granada cultural work, including the Casa del Darro editorial imprint and support from APDI Group.
