Overview
- Universal announced the new perk on its Annual Passholders Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026, ahead of Passholder Appreciation Days that run Aug. 15–Sep. 30.
- Eligible Annual Passholders can claim priority seating at The Untrainable Dragon by arriving about 15 minutes before regular showtimes but seats remain first-come, first-served.
- The perk is folded into normal performances rather than separate passholder-only shows, and an Annual Pass does not replace the separate Epic Universe admission required to enter the park.
- The Untrainable Dragon runs roughly 20 minutes in Isle of Berk and will be closed for a scheduled refurbishment from Sep. 15–20, which interrupts part of the Appreciation Days window.
- The move adds a low-friction benefit to Passholder Appreciation Days that could boost visits to Epic Universe by making live entertainment easier to schedule for frequent guests.
