Overview
- Universal Celestial Goodnight officially debuted on Tuesday, July 7 and will run nightly at park close across Celestial Park using nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, more than 350 fountains and seven million LED lights.
- Universal Nights is a separately ticketed, limited‑capacity after‑hours party set for Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17 with event hours of 9:00 p.m. to midnight and early entry beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Tickets go on sale August 13 with prices starting at $179.99 plus tax and Universal says the event will include nighttime attraction access, entertainment, character interactions and complimentary specialty snacks and beverages.
- Coverage reports passholder perks and discounts (for example, a 10% passholder discount and certain food/merch savings) and some outlets list specific complimentary items such as berry‑flavored Celestial Popcorn and refillable Coca‑Cola Freestyle cups.
- The twin moves follow months of visible infrastructure work—permanent fireworks launch areas, fountains, lighting systems and pyrotechnics testing—and aim to extend evening stays, raise incremental spending and position Epic Universe to rival Disney’s after‑hours market.
