Fast & Furious Supercharged ran its last day at Universal Studios Florida on Sunday with a public farewell that included Brian’s 1994 Toyota Supra on display, a DJ, and wristbanded access for final rides.
Universal moved up an earlier announced 2027 closure to August 16, 2026 and held a separate wristband distribution for annual passholders to manage demand for the last rides.
The Orlando closure follows the 2025 shutdown of the Hollywood Supercharged and creates a gap in Universal Orlando’s Fast & Furious offerings until a replacement opens.
Universal plans to continue the franchise with Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a high-thrill outdoor coaster already in technical rehearsals in California and scheduled for an Orlando version in 2027.
The Fast & Furious franchise will also expand on screen with a Peacock series and a final film, Fast Forever, set for 2028, underscoring a coordinated park and media strategy.
