Universal Adds Hellraiser Haunted Houses to Halloween Horror Nights 35

The announcement brings the original trilogy’s Cenobite mythology to both coasts and signals a push toward darker, production-driven attractions for the event.

Overview

  • Universal announced the Hellraiser haunted houses on Tuesday, June 30, confirming versions will appear at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
  • Both walkthroughs are officially based on the first three Hellraiser films and will lead guests from the Lament Configuration puzzle box through franchise locations such as Frank Cotton’s attic, the Channard Institute, and The Labyrinth.
  • Legendary Pinhead actor Doug Bradley will reprise the role by providing Pinhead’s voice for the Orlando and Hollywood attractions to add franchise authenticity.
  • Tickets and event packages are on sale now, and limited Hellraiser merchandise — including a T-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure for the Infernal Carnival display — is available in parks and will be sold online starting July 1.
  • The Hellraiser reveal brings Universal’s HHN 35 lineup close to complete with eight of ten houses announced, and Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights Aug. 28–Nov. 1 in Orlando and begins Sept. 3 in Hollywood.
