- United began the Twilight Bag Drop pilot over the Fourth of July weekend at Chicago O’Hare, letting select customers check bags the night before early‑morning flights.
- Eligible travelers on flights departing roughly 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. can drop luggage curbside at Terminal 1 between evening hours currently set at about 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- The service is narrowly located at the second curbside vestibule at door 1Da and runs alongside United’s normal policy that allows bag drop up to four hours before departure.
