Uniqlo Reopens on the Magnificent Mile With New Flagship Friday

Overview

• The new flagship at 600 N. Michigan Avenue opens Friday at 10 a.m., with regular hours set for 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Saturday and 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Sunday.
• Grand-opening giveaways run Friday through Sunday, with the first 500 customers each day receiving a custom Garrett Popcorn tin with popcorn, plus a pastry and tea from Ravenswood’s Del Sur Bakery, and shoppers who spend $99 or more getting a Chicago-themed tote.
• Friday’s program features traditional Japanese taiko drum performances at 9:50 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
• Shoppers get early access to the Roger Federer Collection and Chicago-only designs created with local artists such as JC Rivera and Louis De Guzman and partners including the Art Institute of Chicago.
• The opening marks Uniqlo’s return to the corridor after its 2021 exit and fits into an 11-store U.S. expansion that includes a planned suburban location at Oakbrook Mall.
