- Ultraviolette disclosed Tuesday that it quietly listed a new entry-level X-47 on its website priced at Rs 2.49 lakh ex-showroom, expanding the family to six variants.
- The new base trim achieves the lower price by omitting the company’s Hypersense radar safety suite, which removes rear collision warning, blind-spot detection, lane-change assist and overtake alerts.
- Mechanically the bike is unchanged: it keeps the same 27 kW (36.2 hp) motor, 7.1 kWh battery, a claimed 211 km IDC range, a 145 km/h top speed and a 0–60 km/h time of 2.8 seconds.
- The base X-47 retains dual-channel ABS, dynamic stability control, hill-hold, park assist, three riding modes and connectivity features so city buyers keep core safety and convenience aids.
- Buyers can also choose the Battery Flex BaaS plan with Ecofy to cut the upfront motorcycle price to Rs 1.49 lakh and pay a battery subscription from Rs 2,499 per month with a five-year battery warranty and transfer of battery ownership at the end of the term.
