Ukraine Downs Most of 112 Drones in Latest Russian Barrage as Strikes Kill Civilians and Damage Infrastructure

Ukraine reports Pokrovsk as the most active front in a sharp uptick of clashes.

  • Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 112 strike drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile overnight, with air defenses downing or suppressing 91 drones as at least 18 hit 11 locations and debris fell at two sites.
  • Local authorities reported at least five people killed and 13 injured over the past day, including deaths in Kherson, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa, and injuries in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
  • Odesa authorities reported a deadly port strike and severe damage to energy facilities; energy firm DTEK warned repairs will take a long time as teams work to restore electricity to more than 130,000 customers.
  • Ukraine’s General Staff logged 218 combat engagements on Feb. 13, with the Pokrovsk sector the most active and the Huliaipole front also seeing heavy Russian assault attempts.
  • Ukraine said it struck a Nebo-U radar in Crimea and other military targets in occupied areas, while Russia reported shooting down 58 Ukrainian drones over its regions and injuries in Volgograd.
