Overview
- Re-entry begins on January 1, 2027, restoring exchanges for the 2027–28 academic year between the UK and EU.
- EU students in the UK will pay no more than £9,535 per year under an exemption from international fees.
- The scheme covers university students as well as apprentices, school pupils, adult learners, educators and sports coaches.
- The UK will contribute about £570 million for the first year, with future contributions to be decided, and the government projects more than 100,000 UK participants in 2027.
