- UK adults made an average of 15 trips to cash machines in 2025, according to Link.
- People completed 832 million withdrawals last year, about 9% fewer than in 2024, as the average amount withdrawn per person fell 5% to £1,352.
- The ATM network shrank by 5% to 42,403 machines at year-end, including 33,710 free-to-use and 8,693 fee-charging ATMs.
