- UIDAI reports saturation of more than 103,000 schools nationwide within six months of the rollout.
- At least 4,000 biometric machines are in use, with plans to add more to speed the remaining updates.
- Children who miss school camps can complete the Mandatory Biometric Update at enrolment centres and Aadhaar Seva Kendras.
- Updated biometrics support authentication for government benefits, scholarships and registration for exams such as NEET, JEE and CUET.
- The drive, launched in September 2025 after integrating with the UDISE+ education database, is being coordinated with state education departments, district administrations and ecosystem partners.
