Overview
- The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts fair to partly cloudy conditions, with low clouds developing over islands and some western areas.
- Daytime temperatures are set to reach about 30°C in Abu Dhabi and 31°C in Dubai and Sharjah, with markedly cooler nights inland.
- Humidity will build overnight and into the morning, ranging between 40% and 90% in major emirates, raising the risk of fog or mist and reduced visibility.
- Winds will be light to moderate from southeasterly to northeasterly directions at 10–20 km/h, gusting to around 30 km/h, with seas slight to slight-moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
- A chance of rainfall remains mainly over eastern and northern areas and islands, following earlier red and yellow fog alerts issued on December 6.
