Overview
- Air India and Air India Express said a UAE directive limiting ad‑hoc operations on March 15 left them operating only one Delhi–Dubai return each.
- Four of five planned Air India Dubai flights and five of six Air India Express Dubai flights were cancelled, and all five Air India Express Abu Dhabi services were scrapped for the day.
- Limited services to Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah are planned subject to slots and operational conditions, while scheduled links to Jeddah and Muscat continue on reduced patterns.
- IndiGo reported further restrictions at Dubai, cancelled multiple sectors on March 15, and is suspending planned operations to Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dammam, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah until March 28.
- Other airlines are also constrained, with Qatar Airways limited by a Qatari airspace closure and Air Canada suspending Toronto–Dubai until at least May 1, as Indian carriers add fuel surcharges citing higher costs.
