Overview

  • Tyler Herro finished with 33 points, nine rebounds and nine assists on 8-of-10 from deep to lead Miami’s 128–120 road win in Charlotte.
  • The Heat pulled away late after Bam Adebayo’s tying basket and Herro’s go-ahead three; Adebayo logged 24 points and 12 boards and Jaime Jaquez Jr. added 21 off the bench.
  • The result ended the Hornets’ six-game surge and gave Miami a fourth consecutive win, improving the Heat to 7–2 over their last nine and widening their cushion over Charlotte to three games for the No. 8 spot.
