Overview
- State police say a weekend shooting spree hit members of a single family at three nearby East St. Louis sites and left five people dead and two others seriously injured.
- The victims were identified by police as Cherie L. May, 49; Devin D. May, 24; Patricia A. May, 74; Quentin L. Thompson, 21; and Shania W. Thompson, 25.
- Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody Sunday after officers used a precision immobilization technique known as a PIT maneuver on a vehicle at Frank Holten State Park.
