Overview
- A car with four occupants drove alongside two men on W. Tidwell Road Friday night and at least one person opened fire, police said, striking one man in the abdomen and another in the arm.
- Officers provided on-scene emergency care and the Houston Fire Department transported both victims to a hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
- Patrol officers detained one person near the Friday scene who is being interviewed and has given information about the vehicle and other suspects, HPD said.
- Early Sunday morning police found a man shot to death in the courtyard of an apartment complex on Antoine Drive less than half a mile from the Friday shooting, and investigators say they do not yet know if the two incidents are related.
