Overview
- NS&I confirmed on Wednesday that two Premium Bonds holders — one in Reading and one in Warwickshire — each won the £1 million jackpot in the July 2026 draw.
- The Reading winning bond number is 250TP871786 held in an account worth £49,931 and the Warwickshire winner’s bond is 217AV429216 held in an account worth £14,000.
- ERNIE, NS&I’s random-number generator, produced 6,226,179 tax-free prizes worth a total of £433,757,200 from about 136.98 billion eligible £1 bonds, with prizes issued across tiers from £25 up to the two £1 million awards.
- NS&I raised the prize fund rate to 3.8% for July which shortened the odds to roughly 22,000-to-1 per £1 bond and was estimated to add about 322,000 extra prizes each month.
- Winners are contacted directly by Agent Million and bondholders should check their accounts from the second working day using the NS&I app or website; the scheme remains government-backed, tax-free and open to roughly 24 million people with a £50,000 holding cap.
