- The Alfa Capricórnidas and the Delta Acuáridas del Sur reach their predicted maximum during the night of July 30–31, 2026, when Earth crosses the densest parts of both particle streams.
- A near‑full Moon on July 29–30 will brighten the sky and make many of the fainter meteors hard to see, according to meteor observers and the American Meteor Society.
- The Delta Acuáridas can produce up to about 25 meteors per hour at peak but are generally faint, while the Alfa Capricórnidas yield far fewer streaks that tend to be slower and brighter.
