Two Men Get Six-Year Terms for Disposing of Keane Mulready-Woods' Remains

One term will run after an existing drug sentence in 2028, the other starts immediately.

Overview

  • Stephen Carberry, 48, admitted collecting two PUMA bags from the Drogheda house and dumping one in Dublin, and his new six-year sentence will begin after his current drug-dealing term ends in 2028.
  • Glen Bride, 32, drove a car carrying the victim’s head and feet before burning the boot in Dublin’s north inner city, and his six-year sentence takes effect now as he serves another term due to end in April 2027.
  • Prosecutors said Carberry placed the bags in a stolen Volvo, left one at Moatview Gardens in Priorswood, and parked the car containing the head and feet in Donnycarney.
  • Forensic testing found Carberry’s DNA on the Priorswood bag, and he was in contact with Robbie Lawlor following the killing.
  • Keane Mulready-Woods, 17, was lured to a house in Rathmullan Park, Drogheda, on 12 January 2020 and murdered during the Drogheda feud; Lawlor was shot dead in Belfast three months later.
