Overview
- A jury at the Old Bailey on Tuesday found Perry Allen-Thomas, 27, and Amir Salem, 20, guilty of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
- The shooting on December 14, 2024, killed 44-year-old mother-of-two Michelle Sadio and wounded two men, including one who is now paralysed, as about 100 people left a church wake.
- Prosecutors said the intended target was rapper Adetokunbo Ajibola, known as Trapstar Toxic, with at least four shots fired from a black Kia into the crowd.
- Detectives traced planning through CCTV, phone data, and traffic cameras, and showed the stolen Kia ran false plates and was burned after the attack using fuel Salem bought the day before.
- The judge remanded both men with sentencing set for June, two suspected gunmen remain at large, and two other defendants were acquitted of all charges.
