Overview
- Queensland Police charged a 46-year-old Redcliffe man and a 42-year-old Narangba man after the February 17 head-on collision at Burpengary near the Deception Bay Road exit.
- The 46-year-old faces manslaughter plus multiple property and unlawful-use offences and is alleged to have been driving the Isuzu truck; he sustained critical injuries in the crash.
- The 42-year-old is charged with manslaughter and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm and is alleged to have been driving a Ford Ranger that followed the truck.
- Both men are in custody with Caboolture Magistrates Court dates set for April 13 for the Narangba man and May 12 for the Redcliffe man.
- Police say the truck was stolen from a Hemmant business, two other Redcliffe men were charged on February 23 in relation to the theft, and the homicide investigation continues.
