- Federal agents arrested Daejon Love, 35, and Taylor Chan, 18, at the Boise Airport on Monday and they are held in federal custody on charges of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

- Prosecutors allege Love posed as a San Francisco 49ers player and wealthy investor while Chan posed as his financial adviser and the pair used doctored bank and investment screenshots to show fake gains.
- The FBI says Love traveled to meet potential victims across several states between mid-July and Aug. 24, and that some victims took personal loans or made large loans at the defendants’ direction.
- Court proceedings are pending and the FBI is asking possible additional victims to contact its tip line as investigators continue to search for more targets and trace transfers.
