Overview
- Two East Midlands Railway services collided at Elstow on Friday, 19 June when the 16:40 Corby–London St Pancras train struck the stationary 15:50 Nottingham–St Pancras service, and the driver of the Corby train was killed.
- Emergency crews evacuated all passengers by about 23:00 on the night of the crash, at least 33 people were taken to hospital and dozens more received treatment with some in serious or critical condition.
