Two Deceased Found in Tijuana and Tecate as Authorities Open Probes

  • In Tijuana authorities found an unidentified person covered with a blanket and reported preliminary signs of violence at the intersection of Nuevo León and Independencia.
  • In Tecate agents discovered a child’s body inside an abandoned suitcase and early reports describe signs of burning with an estimated age of about five to six years.
  • The Fiscalía General del Estado, Guardia Nacional and municipal police processed both scenes while the Ejército mexicano also participated in Tecate; formal identifications and forensic confirmations are pending.
