Two Critically Injured in Motorcycle Crash on County Highway W

Investigators are reconstructing the scene to determine cause, including whether other vehicles were involved.

  • Two people were left in critical condition after a motorcycle crash on County Highway W on Sunday, with one patient airlifted by Flight for Life to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital and the other taken by ground ambulance to Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie.
  • First responders from Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue, the Town of Randall Fire Department and the Town of Wheatland found both victims lying in the roadway and were aided by bystanders at the scene.
  • Officials say one rider suffered a significant head injury and was reported not to have been wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
  • The Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team is conducting crash reconstruction at the site and officials have not yet released a determination about cause or involvement of other vehicles.
  • Twin Lakes Fire and Rescue urged drivers to use caution because of nearby road construction and repeated its recommendation that motorcyclists wear helmets to reduce the risk of serious injury.
