Overview
- Law enforcement recovered a body from the Dog River Reservoir along Highway 166 on May 15 and later identified the victim by DNA as 37-year-old Jamal Parker.
- Authorities announced arrests and murder charges for Brittany Amber Baker and Mario Andre Barber in connection with Parker’s death.
- Baker and Barber were previously arrested in May on drug and identity-theft related allegations after a multi-day search of a Langdale Chase Street home.
- Arrest warrants from the earlier search show investigators seized stolen driver’s licenses, manufactured identification cards, license plates and vehicle registrations.
