Two Bishnoi Gang Shooters Killed in Bahadurgarh Police Encounter

The operation removes two suspects wanted in the June killing of Hansi gym operator Kapil, prompting expanded forensic work and MCOCA investigations.

Overview

  • Police said a joint Delhi Police Special Cell and Haryana STF team intercepted and engaged the two men in Bahadurgarh on Sunday after receiving a tip-off.
  • The dead were identified as Parvesh (Pravesh) and Himanshu, each carrying a Rs 1 lakh reward and named in the June murder of gym operator Kapil Redhu.
  • Officers say the suspects opened fire when ordered to surrender and police returned fire; both suspects were wounded, taken to hospital and later declared dead while Constable Ankit suffered a leg injury.
  • Authorities secured the scene, recovered weapons and other evidence, and said a fresh FIR will be registered at Sadar police station as forensic and statutory inquiries proceed.
  • Police link the two men to the Lawrence Bishnoi–Harry Boxer–Anil Pandit organised‑crime network and say the encounter follows earlier arrests and intelligence work aimed at dismantling the syndicate.
