- TVS is extending Battery-as-a-Service across its electric scooters, separating vehicle price from battery use and bundling an extended warranty of up to five years or 70,000 km.
- The new base variant becomes the brand’s most affordable EV at Rs 49,999 ex-showroom Delhi under the scheme, inclusive of PM e-Drive benefits.
- A conventional purchase with the battery is priced at Rs 84,500 ex-showroom Delhi, while tenure-based subscriptions start around Rs 862 per month with unlimited monthly usage.
- Orbiter V1 uses a 1.8 kWh pack for an IDC-certified 86 km range and charges from 0–80% in about 2 hours 20 minutes, targeting everyday city commutes.
- The lineup now comprises V1 and the V2 alternative with a 3.1 kWh battery and roughly 158 km IDC range, both offering connected app features, OTA updates, navigation, safety alerts, hill-hold, cruise control and parking assist.
