Overview
- TUI canceled additional early-May voyages, including Mein Schiff 5’s May 8 departure and Mein Schiff 4’s May 10 sailing.
- The company says German Foreign Office warnings still bar a safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, leaving Mein Schiff 4 in Abu Dhabi and Mein Schiff 5 in Doha with only essential crew.
- The five-day Wildcat Tattoo Cruise planned for May 1–6 from Palma has been scrapped, with a replacement date set for April 16–21, 2027.
- TUI also dropped its 2026/27 Gulf season for the new Mein Schiff Flow, which will instead run North and West Europe routes that open for booking in late April.
- Rival lines including AIDA, MSC and Costa have pulled Gulf itineraries as well, and industry reports say any repatriation of the stranded ships would take weeks once clearance is granted.
