TTD Approves ₹5,456.26-Crore Budget for 2026–27

Donations are set to be the top revenue source, eclipsing interest income.

Overview

  • The trust forecasts ₹1,880 crore from hundi collections, up ₹142 crore from 2025–26, while interest income is estimated at ₹1,205 crore, down ₹45 crore.
  • Other key receipts are projected at ₹650 crore from prasadam sales, ₹310 crore from darshan tickets, ₹135 crore from service tickets, ₹175 crore from hair offerings, and ₹173 crore from accommodation.
  • Expenditure is led by ₹1,859.75 crore for human resources, alongside ₹974.50 crore for material purchases, ₹700 crore for corpus and other investments, and ₹475 crore for engineering capital works.
  • Sectoral allocations include a higher ₹245 crore for vigilance and security, ₹201 crore for education, ₹155 crore for hospitals, and ₹248 crore for sanitation and facility management.
  • Cash balances are expected to move from ₹493.37 crore at the start of the year to ₹293.61 crore at close, with approvals for a UPI-based ‘Srivari Mudupu Patram’ pilot, security upgrades, and a new annaprasadam kitchen supported by a proposed ₹100–120 crore donation from Reliance Industries.
