Trump Disclosure Details Massive Q1 Trades in Companies Whose Chiefs Joined Beijing Visit

The filings revive scrutiny over possible conflicts of interest.

Overview

  • Newly released OGE filings show President Trump reported between $211 million and $687 million in securities transactions in the first quarter of 2026.
  • The disclosures list 2,346 purchases and 1,296 sales across major U.S. companies, including Nvidia, Palantir, Paramount, Boeing, Tesla, Apple, Meta, Visa, Citi, Qualcomm and GE Aerospace.
  • The forms note 15 Nvidia-linked trades and seven related to Boeing, including a purchase reported in the $1 million to $5 million range.
  • Senior executives from many of the companies named in the filings traveled with the president to Beijing this week to meet Xi Jinping, and Trump praised Nvidia’s Jensen Huang in a Truth Social post.
  • The White House referred questions to the Trump Organization, which says independent managers control the investments, and the range-based forms include ETF or index fund entries that mask exact exposure.
