Overview
- Voters turned out in very large numbers Sunday, with officials reporting roughly 81–83% participation across 28 constituencies and 1,257 polling stations where 173 candidates were on the ballot.
- The State Election Commission countermanded voting at booth 17/39 in Hirapur Senior Basic School in the Pekuarjala–Janmejoynagar seat and set a re-poll for April 16 after credible video showed an attempt to tamper with the electronic voting machine.
