Tripura Adopts ADB Industrial Roadmap to Fast-Track Industrialisation

Chief Minister Manik Saha released the ADB-prepared book Strategic Approach to Industrial Development Roadmap in Agartala and said the state will implement it.
The plan seeks to turn Tripura into a regional manufacturing and trade hub with an emphasis on long-term industrial growth.
Saha said stable law and order and targeted pro-industry policies have helped make Tripura a model for programme implementation.
The ADB’s guidance was credited with boosting investor confidence, with entrepreneurs from outside the state showing interest in setting up units.
ADB Country Director Mio Oka, Industries Minister Santana Chakma and Secretary Kiran Gitte attended the release, signaling institutional support for the rollout.
