Overview
- A high-voltage transmission line snapped and fell across NH-48 near Narsinghpur, stopping both Delhi–Jaipur carriageways and leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded in long queues.
- The collapse produced a multi-kilometre traffic jam that stretched roughly 4–5 kilometres from Narsinghpur to the Kherki Daula toll plaza and snarled connecting roads on Saturday.
- Police and district officials cordoned the scene, diverted vehicles onto SPR Road, Basai Road, Dwarka Expressway and other bypasses, and advised commuters to follow traffic police directions.
