- Sam Little has told followers that fraudsters stole £40,000 from his cryptocurrency account after he rang a UK number given in texts that looked like they came from a verified bank.
- He says callers used a duplicate “dummy” account so he never entered passwords or codes and then used urgent, insurance-style pressure to move each investment in quick succession.
- His wife recognised the phone number as a known phishing line only after googling it during the call, by which point the scammers had emptied the account and cut the line.
- Little has reported the crime to police, said he is not hopeful of recovery, and made a public appeal for advice while fellow Traitors castmates and followers offered support.
