Overview
- Toyota launched the sixth-generation RAV4, building on a line that has sold more than 15 million since 1994.
- The new model uses Toyota’s Arene platform, which for the first time brings over-the-air updates to its infotainment and driver-assistance systems.
- Powertrains include a full hybrid and a plug-in hybrid centered on a 2.5-liter petrol engine, with front- or all-wheel drive options.
- The plug-in packs a 22.7 kWh battery for about 137 km of electric range, supports 50 kW DC and 11 kW AC charging, and uses geo-fencing to save charge for low-emission zones.
- The lineup adds a GR Sport trim with chassis upgrades and 20-inch wheels, the AWD plug-in is quoted at 309 hp and 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, and prices start at €45,200 for the hybrid and €53,700 for the plug-in.
