Overview
- Toyota announced the 2027 Sequoia refresh on Thursday, giving the full-size SUV updated exterior details and new convenience and utility features.
- Every Sequoia will standardize a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia display with AT&T 5G, an embedded voice assistant, a built-in Drive Recorder dash cam, and expanded Digital Key wallet support that may require a Remote Connect subscription.
- The new Trailhunter package is offered on the SR5 grade and adds Michelin LTX Trail 265/70R18 tires, Old Man Emu upgraded suspension, front recovery hooks, skid protection, bronze wheels, a locking rear differential, Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select.
- Toyota confirmed Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 as standard across the range, but the company has not released final powertrain figures; multiple outlets report the current i-FORCE MAX hybrid system is likely to carry over though that remains unconfirmed.
- Toyota says it will publish full specifications, trim allocations and pricing closer to the start of production in fall 2026, a timing that will determine how attainable factory off-road kits are once dealer markups and option pricing are known.
